About Vylet
My name is Vylet. Dance is in my soul. I first started dancing at age 5 when I started ballet classes.
When I was 12, I joined a children's company and danced the second lead in Hansel and Gretel.
I have traveled across the country and absorbed many different styles of dance. My heart called out for Belly Dance. After over 15 years in various Renaissance festivals I had collected a mix of styles and approaches.
I have been belly dancing for over 14 years. I teach a style that is wholly personal. I seek to inspire my students to dig down inside and find the dancer within them selves.
I find dance to be a great way to work through emotions and stress. I seek to better the world around me and spread as much joy as I can with my dance.
I learned a lot dancing with Zeynep Şuben Tűfekçi in her dance troop Cheek-E-Boom.
As tarot reader I have been reading for over 30 years. I learned from my mother.
I have worked The Arizona Renaissance Festival for 12 years as a reader for Arts for Life, under Sarina Stone.
I have read at many and sundry fairs and festivals across the country.
One side of my family is descended from Hungarian Bashalde gypsies. Known for their talent in music and dance.
As you can tell I got a good dose of the blood. I honor my blood by carrying on the gifts and talents taught to me by my mother and great grandmother(she was the Hungarian). I seek to share my love of this misunderstood culture and spread as much joy as I can.
